Job SummaryThe IT-Support Field Engineer is responsible for providing on-site and remote IT support to clients. The role involves troubleshooting hardware, software, networking, and basic server-related issues, ensuring timely resolution as per defined SLAs and maintaining high customer satisfaction.

Roles & Responsibilities·      Provide on-site and remote technical support to end users

·      Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and OS-related issues

·      Install, configure, and upgrade desktops, laptops, and peripherals

·      Troubleshoot LAN, WAN, and Wi-Fi connectivity issues

·      Perform basic configuration of routers, switches, and access points

·      Manage user accounts and permissions in Active Directory (basic)

·      Install and troubleshoot printers and peripherals

·      Maintain IT asset inventory and documentation

·      Update tickets and prepare daily service reports

·      Ensure SLA adherence and escalate unresolved issues

·      Communicate professionally with clients and users

Required Qualifications Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (preferred)

Experience: 0–2 years of experience in IT support or field support. Freshers may apply.

·      Basic networking (LAN, IP, DNS, DHCP)

·      Router and switch basics

·      MS Office and Outlook

·      Hardware and printer troubleshooting
