Kitchen Helper

We are a cafe in Chennai. We have 65 outlets. We need 25 kitchen staff.

Support role in food-service operations—from restaurants and cafés to catering services. They assist chefs and cooks by handling food preparation, maintaining cleanliness, managing inventory, and ensuring food hygiene compliance.

• Candidates from the northeast, like assam, Meghalaya, and Tripura, are preferred

Job Overview:We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Helper to assist with basic kitchen tasks such as preparing tea/coffee and maintaining cleanliness through regular mopping and cleaning.

• Key Responsibilities:Prepare tea and coffee for staff and guests as required.
• Ensure the pantry area is clean and well-stocked.
• Sweep and mop the kitchen and pantry floors regularly.
• Wipe down tables, counters, and surfaces.
• Dispose of kitchen waste properly.
• Assist with basic kitchen support work as needed.
• Maintain hygiene and follow basic food safety practices.
• Requirements:Prior experience in a kitchen or hospitality setting is preferred but not required.
• Ability to make good tea and coffee.
• Must be physically fit and able to do cleaning work.
• Honest, punctual, and a team player.
