As a Lab Technician, you will be an integral part of our laboratory operations, ensuring that all tests and procedures are conducted accurately and efficiently. Your role will involve collecting and processing samples, performing various laboratory tests, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities:

• Collect and label patient samples (blood, urine, tissue, etc.) following proper protocols.

• Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests on patient samples with precision.

• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring it is calibrated and functioning correctly.

• Record and analyze test results, and prepare reports for medical staff and patients.

• Ensure the accuracy and reliability of test results by following strict quality control procedures.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization within the laboratory, following safety and hygiene protocols.

• Assist in the development and implementation of new laboratory procedures and techniques.

• Manage inventory and ensure the availability of necessary laboratory supplies and reagents.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT or BMLT).

• Minimum 1-3 years of experience as a Lab Technician in a diagnostic laboratory.

• Proficiency in using laboratory equipment and performing various diagnostic tests.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with high precision.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with medical staff and patients.

• Ability to follow protocols and procedures to ensure accurate test results.

• Familiarity with safety standards and the ability to maintain a safe working environment.
