Introduction to role:
Are you ready to turn Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud into engines that deepen patient engagement and accelerate breakthrough medicines? Can you picture leading a high-impact roadmap that converts sophisticated data into significant, compliant experiences across millions of touchpoints?
As Lead Consultant, you will architect and operationalize multi-channel marketing capabilities that connect our scientific breakthroughs to the people who need them. Working closely with marketing leaders and technical teams, you will design scalable data models, automate journeys, and extend platforms to deliver measurable outcomes—speed to market, precision personalization, and trusted data activation.
This role is made for a hands-on leader who flourishes with ownership, clarity of outcomes, and real-world impact. You will start by stabilizing and optimizing current journeys, then guide adoption of new Salesforce features that unlock performance at global scale, always with the patient in mind.
Accountabilities:
Salesforce Solution Design: Design, develop, and maintain custom solutions within Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud that directly support business goals and patient engagement outcomes.
Data Cloud Modeling and Segmentation: Create and optimize data models, queries, and custom objects to power advanced segmentation, personalization, and analytics that lift campaign performance.
Campaign Orchestration: Build and automate sophisticated multi-channel journeys using Journey Builder, Email Studio, Mobile Studio, and related tools; quantify impact and iterate quickly.
Automation and Reusability: Develop reusable templates, automations, and workflows that compress cycle times and improve operational efficiency across markets.
API and Integration Engineering: Develop and handle APIs, automation scripts, and custom components to extend platform capabilities and connect data reliably across the enterprise.
Compliance and Data Governance: Embed GDPR, CCPA, and internal standards into data handling and activation; champion privacy-by-design and audit-ready processes.
Performance Optimization: Supervise platform health end to end, identify bottlenecks, and implement improvements to ensure high availability, resilience, and speed at scale.
Issue Resolution and Reliability: Fix and resolve technical issues across integrations, data processing, and campaign execution; implement root-cause fixes that prevent recurrence.
Platform Advancement: Know the latest with Salesforce releases and standards; lead proofs of concept and guide adoption that unlocks new business value.
Documentation Excellence: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for custom developments, integrations, and workflows to enable repeatability and visibility.
Enablement and Training: Deliver training and support to marketing and technical teams on Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud protocols; raise capability and self-sufficiency.
