Job Description
Lead Engineer -Brakes
Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
o Strong knowledge of brake system components (discs, drums, pads, calipers, etc.) and their operation.
o Familiar in Brake System selection process with System calculation.
o Knowledge of Geometric tolerance & stack up calculation.
o Proficiency in simulation tools (e.g., ANSYS, MATLAB, Simulink).
o Experience with CAD software (e.g., CATIA, SolidWorks, or similar).
o Familiarity with material science as it pertains to brake components.
o Understanding of vehicle dynamics and control systems (e.g., ABS, ESC).
o Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to innovate and think critically.
o Knowledge of Brake NVH & problem solving.
o Strong written and verbal communication skills for presenting technical information to cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
