Lead Engineer- MSD

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

1. Experience in new product development for glass, seals & mechanisms, closures and seats.
2. Clear understanding of gap & flushness for automotive parts.
3. Knowledge mechanism parts like wipers, door handles, sunroof, switches etc
4. Knowledge of automotive seat design and development.
5. Knowledge of DFMEA, PFMEA, DOE, 8D problem solving technique.
6. Experience of various concerns faced during production ramp up and solutions. NVH concerns.
7. Knowledge of GD&T, metrology & CMM dimension measurement techniques.
8. Knowledge of automotive test standards and vehicle test procedures.
9. GSM & closures system related concern analysis & resolution as per the 8D methodology.
10. Preparation of time plan for development or problem analysis activity.

B.E/B.Tech

General Requirements

. Good communication skills (written and oral)

2. Ability to Co-ordinate with other various stake holders (internal & external)

3. Willing to travel for concern investigation at supplier/Test tracks or along with vehicle.

4. Time bound response to assigned activities.

5. Expert in MS office (Excel, PPT, MS word) for data analysis and report preparation.

6. Able to use CATIA
