The Legal Executive will play a crucial role in our Recovery Common Cost Allocation team, working closely with the Relationship Banking Group. This position requires a deep understanding of legal processes and the ability to navigate complex banking regulations. The successful candidate will provide legal support and guidance to ensure compliance and efficient operations within the group.

• Review and analyze legal documents, contracts, and agreements related to Recovery Common Cost Allocation.
• Provide legal advice and recommendations to the Relationship Banking Group on various matters.
• Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, including drafting and reviewing legal documents.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including business units and legal teams, to resolve legal issues and provide solutions.
• Conduct legal research and stay updated on relevant laws and regulations impacting the banking industry.
• Assist in the development and implementation of legal strategies to mitigate risks and optimize operations.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of legal activities and transactions.
• Liaise with external legal counsel and vendors as required, managing relationships and ensuring effective communication.
• Support the Relationship Banking Group in negotiating and finalizing complex agreements and contracts.

• A Bachelor of Laws (LLB) or equivalent legal qualification is mandatory.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar legal role, preferably within the banking or financial services industry.
• Strong knowledge of banking regulations and legal frameworks applicable to commercial banking.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide practical legal solutions.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
• Proficiency in legal research and drafting, with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with banking operations and products, particularly in the commercial vehicle and construction equipment sectors.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• A proactive and solution-oriented approach to legal matters is highly desirable.
