Logistics Engineer - Intralogistics and Supply Chain Optimization

Logistics Engineer

Your Tasks:

• Develop logistics specifications for inbound materials along material lifecycle
• Maintain logistics specifications within internal PLM system
• Continuously improve logistics specifications by considering internal logistics challenges, supplier input, and applicable technical guidelines
• Represent the central point of contact for logistic specification matters within business unit (Nacelle) and support peers in production location to implement global intralogistics standards.
• Participate and represent the business unit (Nacelle) in new product ramp-up for intralogistics operations, by anticipating changes related to logistics specifications
• Calculate and check load distribution and load securing for land and sea shipments
• Support the plants SCM team in warehouse optimization, process improvements and lead logistics continuous improvement projects with global reach

    Your Profile:

• High knowledge in spoken and written English
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in intralogistics engineering
• Completed degree in Engineering or Supply Chain Management
• Expertise in MS Office
• Expertise in packaging of industrial products, corrosion protection and load securing
• High problem-solving skills
• Structured ability to work and to manage people from different departments, countries & cultures
• Willingness to travel
• Strong innovative mindset and a proactive working style aimed at the continuous development of specifications
• Ability to work independently and with great attention to detail, combined with a high sense of responsibility
• Optional: Expertise in Teamcenter and CAD-software (Siemens NX or ProEngineer Creo)
