About the Team:

Quality Team plays a crucial role in producing components for automobiles. It helps Cost reduction, Identify the issues, Maintaining the supply chain, improve the product quality, Sustainability & etc.

 What you can look forward to as Manager - Metallurgist (m/f/d):
•    Oversee the materials laboratory activities – inspection for heat treatment, welding and surface treatment processes like powder coating , plating .
•    Planning and performing periodical checks like NSS , microstructure analysis etc, Material inspection for supplier parts of various commodities like rubber , plastics, aluminium, Steel and Grey cast iron 
•    Carry-out failure analysis of any issues related to in-house special processes and material/surface treatment related concerns in supplier parts as well.
•    Maintaining materials lab equipments with due calibration and servicing to meet IATF/ISO IEC 17025 requirements, Carrying out Millipore .particle analysis and cleanliness inspection. 
•    Liaison with external laboratories for required material inspection activities .Carrying out CQI/process audits for inhouse special processes 
•    Deliver defect prevention and no material related quality issues at customer, field and inhouse. Providing training to quality technicians in the laboratory and to maintain adequate skill set

 

Your profile as Manager - Metallurgist (m/f/d):
•    Degree in metallurgical  Engineering with 8-12 years work experience in Quality assurance handing materials lab and metallurgist activities 
•    Adequate knowledge about testing of various materials 
•    Special process knowledge about heat treatments ( SQF, nitriding , induction hardening) , welding ,surface treatment processes like powder coating, chromating ,phosphating etc
•    Standards familiarity – ASTM, ISO/DIN, ISO/IEC 17025 , NABL accreditation requirements  
•    Failure analysis and problem solving –familiarity with quality tools & IATF 16949 standard requirements
