Manager - NPD Quality Planning Vehicle

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

Key Deliverables:
1. Adherence to the MPDS Gateway System
2. Adherence to Quality Evaluation Plan, Reliability and Validation Plan
3. Assess, Evaluate, Monitor Deviations for Quality Indicators and deliverables in program.
4. Facilitate and participate in Quality Planning activities in the program and present risk status during reviews.
5. Ensure Quality of Event of activities and Program Quality discipline & program sign-offs.

'1. Verification of actions on Lessons Learnt:
a. Ensure actions on Lessons Learnt at MP, VP phase get verified during Build and Validation.
b. Track and monitor, release MIS on status of Lessons Learnt verified during Build and Validation.

2. Prototype Vehicle Build Quality :
a. Ensure Planning and alignment of various stakeholders for Quality Evaluation with respect to Quality targets in Build phases.
b. Monitor, insist Inwarded Parts/aggregates are inwarded as per the MPDS Build parts requirement and guideline.
c. Track, Monitor and MIS for status of Build activities with respect to Quality Planning interests.
d. Participate and add value for concern resolution of Build concerns.
e. Audit the Proto Build Process and release MIS for adequacy and adherence of MPDS and best practices for Everything right.
f. Identify srisks to Manufacturing vehicle at palnt early during Proto Vehicle build.

3. Vehicle Validation Quality  and RGA:
a. Participate in the DVP identification and signoff activity to ensure alignment with RWUP and DVPs planned.
b. Monitoring Plan vs actual for all Validation, Vehicle DVP activities.
c. Establish correlation in validation DVP’s based on field feedback & ever changing RWUP condition.
d. Participate and value addition towards concern resolution process for Validation concerns.
e. Critical concern communication to stakeholders form Quality Value stream.

5. System Evaluation Labs Quality:
a. Participate in the DVP identification and sign-off activity with RWUP and DVP's planned.
b. Using RWUP, foresignt for use by customer, recommend revision in DVP's.
c. Ensure Critical concern communication to stakeholders form Quality Value stream.

 

Experience

12 to 15 years Experience in Automotive Industry 

Industry Preferred

Automotive 

Qualifications

B.E. /B.Tech in Automobile/Mechanical Engineering 

General Requirements

Must: Previous work experience in Prototype Vehicle Build and OR Validation
OR
Must: Previous work experience in Quality Planning for vehicle projects.


Customer Centric approach
Knowledge of concern resolution tools - Quality tools.
Knowledge of vehicle Assembly, vehicle systems and vehicle parts.
Knowledge of  various quality evaluations on vehicle.
Excellent computer skills in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
Good comunications skills and able to colloborate across functions
