Job Description

Job Title: Business Development Executive - Pharma Packaging


Company: Unitedpoly Allied Industries Pvt. Ltd.


Objective: To drive business growth and market penetration in the Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry pharmaceutical sector by securing new printing orders for aluminium foil packaging and fostering strong client relationships.


Roles and Responsibilities:


1. Market Development & Lead Generation:

Identify and map potential pharmaceutical companies within the assigned territory (Tamil Nadu & Pondicherry).

Conduct market research to understand the packaging needs, current suppliers, and key decision-makers (e.g., Procurement Managers, R&D Heads, Production Heads) at target companies.

Generate a robust sales pipeline through cold calling, scheduled meetings, and industry networking.


2. Technical Sales & Client Engagement:

Develop a comprehensive understanding of Unitedpoly's aluminium foil printing capabilities, including quality specifications, printing technologies, material properties, and regulatory compliance.

Act as the primary point of contact for prospective clients, effectively communicating the company's value proposition and technical advantages.

Conduct professional presentations and product demonstrations to key personnel at pharmaceutical companies.

Gather and relay client technical requirements and feedback to the internal production and quality teams.


3. Order Acquisition & Sales Cycle Management:

Proactively solicit printing orders from new and existing clients.

Prepare and present competitive quotations and negotiate terms to secure business.

Follow up diligently on all quotations and proposals to move opportunities through the sales funnel.

Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.


4. Client Relationship Management & Follow-up:

Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders in the pharma industry.

Conduct regular follow-up meetings and calls to ensure client satisfaction and identify opportunities for repeat business or new projects.

Address and resolve any client queries or concerns in a timely and effective manner.

5. Reporting & Coordination:

Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline status in the company's CRM system.

Provide regular sales forecasts, progress reports, and market feedback to management.

Coordinate closely with the internal production, design, and logistics teams to ensure seamless order fulfillment and delivery.
