A Product Engineer Sales Coordinator acts as the technical liaison between engineering and sales teams, driving revenue by providing technical expertise, creating, and delivering product demonstrations, and preparing customized proposals. They support the sales cycle by translating complex technical information into user-friendly solutions, managing client inquiries, and analyzing market trends to improve product offerings. Key Responsibilities

  • Technical Sales Support: Provide technical support to the sales team during pre-sales, including delivering product demos, presentations, and technical documentation.
  • Liaison Function: Act as a bridge between the sales, product development, and engineering teams to ensure client requirements are accurately translated into product solutions.
  • Customer Interaction: Assist in managing client inquiries, conducting meetings, and troubleshooting technical issues during the sales process.
  • Proposal Development: Create detailed technical proposals, cost estimates, and proof-of-concept documentation.
  • Market Intelligence: Analyze customer feedback and competitor products to offer insights for future product development.
  • Sales Coordination: Maintain CRM data, track sales opportunities, and support the sales team in achieving targets.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience: Previous experience in technical sales support, engineering, or a product coordination role.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of the company's product portfolio and technical specifications.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office.
