Job Description
- Perform microbiological analysis of food, water, and soil samples in accordance with applicable standards such as IS, APHA, FSSAI, BIS, and other regulatory guidelines.
- Conduct testing for key parameters including Total Plate Count (TPC), Coliforms, E. coli, Salmonella, Yeast & Mold, and other pathogens.
- Prepare culture media, reagents, and ensure proper sterilization of laboratory equipment as per established SOPs.
- Maintain accurate documentation, test records, and reports in compliance with NABL / ISO 17025 requirements.
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of samples and biohazardous waste in line with safety regulations.
- Operate and maintain laboratory instruments such as incubators, autoclaves, BOD incubators, laminar airflow systems, and colony counters.
- Follow internal quality control procedures and actively participate in proficiency testing programs.
- Support method validation, equipment calibration, and internal audit activities.
- Maintain laboratory cleanliness and strictly adhere to safety protocols.
- Coordinate with QA/QC teams and provide support during external audits and inspections.
