Job Purpose 

 

Key Job Responsibilities 

Key Result Areas and Supporting Actions Providing integrated technical support towards following broad aspects of the technical function.

 

  1. Formulation & Implementation of Technical Policies & Procedures for Muthoot Fincorp Secured & Unsecured Lending Business 

Comprising of MSME Loans backed by Property, Gold – Pan India.

 

  1. Extending Guidance to the Zonal / State Technical Team on the Property Valuation on broad policy guidelines as well as on Transactional based deviations.

 

  1. A thorough Understanding of RERA guidelines and its impact on the Real Estate Market, more specifically to Secured Mortgages.

 

  1. Monitoring & Updating on Laws pertaining to Real Estate, Policy and regulatory requirements impacting retail mortgage business rolled out by Central, State, District and other Statutory authorities from time to time.

 

  1. Develop new initiatives & lead to State specific innovations.

 

  1. Suggest process improvement & effective implementation of same.

 

  1. Monitor technical evaluation process – Pan India, Zone, State.

 

  1. Maintain TAT targets for the technical evaluation process.

 

  1. Work closely with the legal counterpart on the technical evaluation front.

 

 

  1. Conduct spot checks at various locations and suggest region specific amendments to increase business & mitigate risk.

 

  1. Proactively work towards developing robust processes for early triggers for FRAUD DETECTION & AVOIDANCE.

 

  1. Monitor handling of Fraud cases on the technical front ie., Identification, handling, reporting and facilitation closure as per the action decided.
  2. Vendor Management 

 

  1. Team Management

 

  1. Market Intelligence on Real Estate.

 

  1. Supporting Ground Team on Revaluation on Distressed Assets and its resolution.

 

  1. General Support.

Qualifications

Currently handling a national role in technical department of a Housing Finance Co. or at least in the capacity of Zonal Manager for at least 3 to 4 years preferably in a Housing Finance Co, NBFC.
