Job Summary

We are looking for a hands-on operations manager to manage daily activities at our koi fish farm. The candidate will oversee koi health, pond systems, filtration equipment, farm maintenance, staff coordination, and customer support.

The role requires someone who can independently manage farm operations, troubleshoot pond systems, and assist in building and maintaining koi ponds for clients.

Key Responsibilities

1. Koi Farm Management

• Monitor koi health, feeding, and growth
• Identify disease symptoms and assist in treatment
• Maintain quarantine tanks and pond water quality
• Conduct water parameter testing (pH, ammonia, nitrite, nitrate)

2. Filtration & Equipment Management

• Maintain filtration systems, pumps, UV systems, and aeration
• Install and troubleshoot koi pond filtration systems
• Maintain Bakki showers, RDF filters, and plumbing systems
• Ensure proper water circulation and oxygen levels

3. Pond Construction & Maintenance

• Assist in koi pond construction and renovation
• Handle plumbing, pipe fitting, and pump installation
• Visit client sites when required for maintenance

4. Farm Operations

• Manage daily farm operations
• Supervise workers and technicians
• Maintain farm cleanliness and safety
• Maintain stock records of koi and equipment

5. Customer Interaction

• Assist customers with koi selection
• Guide clients on pond maintenance
• Support after-sales service and troubleshooting

6. Inventory & Logistics

Manage inventory of pumps, filters, medicines, and equipment

• Coordinate with suppliers and shipments

Required Skills

• Basic knowledge of aquaculture / fish farming
• Knowledge of pond plumbing and filtration systems
• Ability to identify fish diseases
• Experience with tools, pumps, plumbing
• Good problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage farm workers

Preferred Qualifications

• Diploma / Degree in Fisheries / Aquaculture / Mechanical
• Experience in koi farms, aquariums, or fish hatcheries
• Experience with RDF filters, pumps, pond plumbing
