We are looking to add a Retail Engagement Manager who will manage a team of RE Leads and Specialists to coordinate and engage with retailers for data governance and assuring quality of source data.
Job Description
As a Retailer Engagement Manager, you will be leading a smart and highly skilled team who are proud to partner with some of the world’s leading retailers on cutting-edge and data driven solutions - all powered by our exceptional technology and people.
Key responsibilities include leading client data onboarding workstreams with customers which are primarily retailers and their suppliers. Work directly with customers’ data teams on onboarding, performing data validation, tracking Retailer Data Quality, conducting regular reviews with internal stakeholders and retailers, and driving specific quality improvement goals, including any change management related to data integration. The role also handles escalations with Retailers on queries and other engagements. This position will manage customers within a group of countries or region.
Responsibilities:
- The role will need 50% execution of Retail Engagement role and 50% people management profile
- Direct engagement with Retailer and Vendors
- Partner with Business Product and Tech team
- Collaborate with cross functional Operations and Technology teams for new retailer onboarding and existing retailer file format changes
- Contribute to data quality initiatives and constantly look for data feed improvement opportunities
- Input consistency assurance and managing data escalations
- Adhere to operational administrational requirements such as team shift allowance and timesheet management
- Mentoring and upskilling the team
Qualifications
- Minimum total experience of 10 years or more
- 3+ years of experience in client facing consultation role, project management expertise, managing customer expectations and deadlines
- 3+ years of experience working with data – especially around validation and quality assurance
- Excellent written / verbal communication skills and influencing skills to interact with clients and cross-functional teams (e.g., Operations, Technology)
- Manage senior stakeholders and explain technical concepts in a simplified manner
- Detail-oriented approach in terms of maintaining documentations, email minutes and status updates
- Strong SQL with experience in querying large, complex data sets.
- Exposure to Python / Pyspark, Databricks development experience
- Experience working with retailer and supplier analytics data
- Experience with Cloud platforms – such as Azure
