Summary:
As a Packaged or Software as a Service Application Engineer, a typical day involves configuring and supporting packaged or cloud-based applications to tailor features according to evolving business requirements. The role includes managing software releases and maintaining system stability to ensure seamless operation. The engineer works with various tools, application programming interfaces, and low-code platforms to deliver solutions that align with organizational goals while preserving compatibility and optimal performance. Collaboration with different teams and continuous monitoring of application health are integral parts of the daily routine.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become a subject matter expert.
- Required active participation and contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement application enhancements.
- Monitor application performance and troubleshoot issues to maintain high availability.
- Document configuration changes and maintain knowledge bases for future reference.
- Assist junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and updates in packaged and cloud-based application technologies.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft 365 Security and Compliance.
- Experience with configuring security policies and compliance settings within Microsoft 365 environments.
- Familiarity with application programming interfaces and integration techniques for packaged applications.
- Knowledge of low-code platforms to customize and extend application functionalities.
- Ability to manage software release cycles and ensure smooth deployment processes.
- Strong problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve application-related issues efficiently.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Microsoft 365 Security & Compliance.
- This position is based at our Chennai office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
