Reports to: Manager, People Analytics

Position Overview:

We are seeking a data-driven and technically skilled People Analytics Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you'll be instrumental in transforming our HR data into actionable insights that shape our talent strategy and drive business decisions. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our people reporting and analytics infrastructure, with a primary focus on the Workday platform. Key Responsibilities:

• Reporting & Dashboarding: Design, build, and maintain a variety of simple to complex reports and dashboards within Workday (Advanced, Matrix, Composite) to meet stakeholder needs.

• Technical Consultation: Act as a technical subject matter expert for HR data, translating business requirements from HR partners into robust technical specifications and analytics solutions.

• Analytics Platform Support: Support the maintenance and enhancement of our analytics platforms. This includes troubleshooting report/data issues and performing regular audits to ensure data quality.

• Storytelling with Data: Partner with the People Analytics team to create compelling data visualizations and narratives using BI tools that empower leaders to make informed decisions.

• Process Improvement: Continuously identify opportunities to automate processes, optimize data delivery, and improve the overall efficiency of our people analytics function

Skills, Abilities & Experience Required:

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field like Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or equivalent practical experience.

• 2+ years of hands-on experience building and maintaining reports and dashboards in Workday Reporting.

• Hands-on experience with Workday Prism Analytics, including data ingestion, transformation, and dashboard creation.

• Strong proficiency with Workday's business objects, data sources, and calculated fields.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and a meticulous attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Exposure to Business Intelligence (BI) and data visualization tools, particularly Domo

• Knowledge of SQL and data warehousing concepts.

• Experience working within People Analytics.
