Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Pet Groomer and Veterinary Assistant. This dual role requires someone who is comfortable grooming pets while also assisting in the clinical care of animals. The ideal candidate will be passionate about animal welfare, detail-oriented, and a strong team player.

Key Responsibilities:As a Pet Groomer:

• Bathe, brush, trim, and style dogs and cats according to breed standards or owner preferences.
• Clip nails, clean ears, and perform basic hygiene care.
• Assess pet's skin, coat, and behavior for signs of stress, illness, or injury.
• Maintain a clean and safe grooming area.
• Communicate with pet owners about grooming needs and services.

As a Veterinary Assistant:

• Assist veterinarians during examinations and surgical procedures.
• Restrain animals safely and compassionately.
• Administer medications and vaccinations under supervision.
• Prepare exam rooms, equipment, and instruments.
• Maintain accurate medical records and assist with client communication.
• Perform basic lab tests and process samples.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in pet grooming and/or veterinary assistance preferred.
• Certification in grooming or vet assisting is a plus.
• Strong animal handling skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Working Conditions:

• Exposure to animals that may be stressed, aggressive, or unwell.

Pay: From ₹18,000.00 to ₹35,000.00 per month
