Automation Tester

Playwright + TypeScript Automation Tester

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright with TypeScript
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers to identify testing requirements and test scenarios
• Design comprehensive test plans and test cases for functional, regression, smoke, and performance testing
• Perform API testing and integrate API validations into automation framework
• Troubleshoot issues in automation scripts and enhance framework capabilities as needed
• Participate in agile ceremonies and provide timely updates on test coverage and defect status
• Contribute to CI/CD pipeline integration of automated test suites

Experience - 5 Years

Required Skills:

• Strong understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and web application architecture
• Good exposure to CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions
• Knowledge of BDD frameworks like Cucumber
