Principal Application Architect

Summary

 

We are seeking a highly experienced SAP Order to Cash (OTC) Consultant with strong functional expertise and hands-on experience in SAP Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR). The ideal candidate will play a critical role in supporting, enhancing, and optimizing OTC and revenue recognition processes, ensuring compliance with accounting standards (ASC 606 / IFRS 15) and seamless integration across SAP modules.
This role requires deep functional knowledge, strong stakeholder engagement, and the ability to work independently in a complex SAP landscape involving support, enhancements, and projects.
This role is strictly involved in the building, customizing & administrating the enterprise applications and does not involve access to Protected Health Information (PHI) & Personally Identifiable Information (PII) or any secured/confidential client data.

Key Responsibilities

 

SAP OTC (Order to Cash)

End-to-end ownership and expertise in SAP OTC processes, including:

1. Customer Master Data
2. Sales Order Management
3. Pricing, Discounts, Rebates
4. Credit Management
5. Delivery & Shipping
6. Billing (Standard, Milestone, Periodic, Intercompany)
7. Returns, Cancellations, and Debit/Credit Memo processing

• Configure and support SD pricing procedures, copy controls, output determination, incompletion procedures, and partner determination.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand OTC process gaps and propose optimized SAP solutions.
• Handle incidents, service requests, minor enhancements, and change requests and Projects.

Required Skills & Qualifications

 

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in SAP SD / OTC.
• Strong hands-on experience in SAP RAR.
• In-depth understanding of revenue recognition standards (ASC 606 / IFRS 15).
• Strong functional configuration skills in SD and RAR.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

 

Good to Have

• Experience with S/4HANA.
• Experience working with global stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
• Prior experience in transition or KT phases.
