Job Title: Principal – Catering College

Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Principal for our Catering College who will play a key leadership role in managing academic operations, enhancing training standards, and strengthening industry and university partnerships. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Hotel Management, Soft Skills Development, and Employee Training, along with a proven track record of academic administration.
Key Responsibilities
Academic & Administrative Leadership
- Oversee the overall functioning of the Catering College, including academic planning, faculty coordination, and student development.
- Ensure high standards of curriculum delivery aligned with industry expectations.
- Lead accreditation, compliance, and regulatory procedures.
Training & Development
- Design and implement training programs for students and employees in Hospitality, Culinary Skills, Soft Skills, and Professional Development.
- Coordinate internal and external training activities, ensuring quality and consistency.
University & Industry Tie-ups
- Establish and maintain partnerships with universities, hotel management institutes, and industry bodies.
- Drive collaborative programs, certifications, internships, and placement initiatives.
- Represent the institution in academic and industry forums.
Employee Training for the Organization
- Develop structured training modules for the company’s employees across departments.
- Conduct Training Need Analysis (TNA) and deliver skill-based programs to enhance workforce competency.
Hotel Management Training
- Guide and mentor students and trainees in core hospitality disciplines such as Food Production, F&B Service, Housekeeping, and Front Office.
- Ensure practical training is industry-ready and meets operational standards.
Qualifications & Experience
- Master’s Degree in Hotel Management / Hospitality / Catering Technology (PhD preferred).
- Minimum 10–15 years of experience in hospitality academics, training, or hotel operations.
- Experience in leading a hotel management institute/college is an added advantage.
- Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
