Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

• Function as a technical leader in identifying & executing test cases as per the system requirements & customer usage profile.
• Providing initial analysis & resolution for critical concerns by analyzing the logs.
• Risk assessment of defects & releasing the Softwares for vehicle application.
• Expertise in Cockpit domain , connected car features, understanding of marketing trends, design thinking and global benchmarking.
• Understanding the field failures with respect to Software & Trouble shooting the field failures.
• Establishing the Root cause & defining the corrective actions along with system COE & Suppliers.
• Coordinating with Suppliers for Field failure investigations, Software testing coordination with suppliers & Bench testing teams.

• Collaborate with stake holders towards clear dependency and interface requirements definition.
• Mentor & Coach team members towards sustained motivation on delivering value added services on software testing
• Ensure seamless operation of software testing in adherence to stringent performance metrics.

Qualifications

• engineering or similar domain
• 15 years of professional experiences in automotive electronics industry with atleast 3 years of experience in connected car domain.
• Deeper understanding of industry trends, network technology, IoT Protocols, embedded system development, Vehicle CAN Matrix.
• Deeper understanding of device architecture with exposure to cybersecurity aspects
• Understanding of Agile Development Methods
• Understanding of failure modes and ability to define mitigation methodologies to ensure robust performance.
• Ability to define KPI for newer functionalities and systems.
• Sound knowledge of overall Vehicle CAN Matrix, ECU communication protocols & System Engineering.
• Certification in system engineering preferred.
