Job Description
Procurement & Purchase Manager (Civil)
Role Summary:
Responsible for end-to-end procurement of construction materials and services, ensuring timely availability, cost control, and compliance with project requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage procurement cycle from PR to PO
- Source vendors, obtain RFQs, prepare comparisons, and negotiate rates
- Procure civil construction materials as per BOQ, drawings, and specifications
- Coordinate with site, stores, and accounts teams
- Ensure timely delivery, quality compliance, and inventory control
- Maintain procurement documentation and MIS reports
- Support cost control and audit requirements
Qualification & Experience:
- BE/B.Tech in Civil Engineering
- Minimum 3 - 5 years of experience in construction procurement
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of civil materials and BOQs
- Vendor negotiation and cost control
- ERP & MS Excel proficiency
- Good communication and coordination skills
