Job Description
- Prepare project-wise procurement plans based on BOQs and construction schedules.
- Coordinate with Planning, Engineering, and Site teams for material and subcontract requirements.
- Identify, evaluate, empanel, and manage vendors and subcontractors.
- Negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules to achieve cost efficiency.
- Monitor vendor performance and resolve supply issues.
- Float RFQs/RFPs, evaluate techno-commercial bids, and issue POs/WOs.
- Ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and contract terms.
- Maintain rate contracts for key materials.
- Ensure timely availability of cement, steel, concrete, aggregates, finishing, and interior materials.
- Control procurement costs and prevent material shortages or excess inventory.
- Track market price trends and manage escalation risks.
- Liaise with Site Engineers, Stores, and Accounts for material delivery and billing.
- Prepare procurement MIS reports and cost comparisons.
