Procurement Manager

Job Summary:

The Purchase Executive is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials, equipment, and services required by the company. The role ensures timely procurement, cost control, vendor management, and adherence to quality and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities: Procurement & Purchasing

1. Identify, source, and procure materials and services as per project requirements.

2. Prepare purchase orders and follow up with vendors for timely delivery.

3. Compare quotations and prepare cost analysis sheets.

4. Ensure materials meet quality, specification, and quantity standards.

5. Evaluate vendor performance regularly (quality, delivery, pricing).

6. Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, quotations, and delivery notes.

7. Ensure timely procurement to avoid project delays.

Technical Skill:

1. Strong negotiation and communication skills
2. Good knowledge of procurement processes
3. Vendor management expertise
4. Analytical and cost comparison skills
5. Knowledge of inventory, materials, and logistics
6. Knowledge of construction materials (if infra industry)
