Product Analyst

As a Product Analyst for the Ford Pro FinSimple mission you will be a critical member of our product team responsible for leveraging data to drive product strategy and development for the larger team, as well a supporting existing products and features.  This includes analyzing market data, customer feedback, and performance metrics to provide insights that inform product strategy and development. You will work closely with product managers, stakeholders, and technical teams to ensure that products meet customer needs in particular markets and business objectives. Your insights will directly impact product decisions and shape user experience. 

• Analyze customer feedback, user data, and market specific trends to identify pain points and opportunities for product improvement. Quantify the impact of your analysis whenever possible (e.g. ‘Identified X% improvement opportunity in Y area based on Z data.’)
• Collect and analyze data from various sources (e.g. internal databases, third-party tools, market research reports) to evaluate product performance and user engagement. Prioritize data sources based on relevance and reliability.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, software engineers, and marketing, to support product development and launch efforts. Foster strong working relationships with cross-functional teams.
• Work with the product, tech, and operations team to resolve production issues and assist with ticket resolution
• Assist in defining product strategies and roadmaps based on data insights and market research. Demonstrate understanding of market dynamics and competitive landscape.
• Collaborate with product managers to prioritize features and enhancements that align with business goals and specific needs of the market.  Proactively suggest new features or improvements based on data analysis.
• Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and success metrics for products. Develop dashboard to monitor KPIs.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor product performance and identify trends. Automate reporting wherever feasible to increase efficiency.
• Support A/B testing and other experimentation methods to assess the impact of new features and changes.  Design experiments to test specific hypothesis and analyze results rigorously.
• Analyze test results to make data-driven recommendations for product improvements. Clearly articulate the implications of your recommendations and their potential impact on the business.
• Communicate insights and recommendations clearly and effectively to stakeholders at all levels. Tailor your communication style to the audience.
• Assist in maintaining and refining the product backlog, ensuring it reflects current priorities and opportunities for improvement. 
• Identify opportunities to enhance product processes and practices, driving continuous improvement initiatives. 

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Familiarity with data analysis tools and methodologies (Airtable, Power BI, Looker, QlikSense).
• Basic understanding of product management principles and tools.
• Eagerness to learn and grow within the product management field.
