About your role:
As a Systems Engineering - Professional II, you will be essential in designing, implementing, and maintaining Fiserv's complex systems infrastructure. Your expertise will contribute to the efficiency and reliability of our systems, ensuring seamless operations that support our clients' business needs. You will work as part of a collaborative team of professionals dedicated to excellence in systems engineering and innovation.

What you'll do:

• Design and implement systems infrastructure to meet business and client needs.

• Monitor and maintain system performance to ensure optimal operations.

• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

• Implement upgrades and improvements to system architecture and infrastructure.

• Ensure compliance with industry standards, best practices, and company policies.

Experience you'll need to have:

• 3+ years of experience in systems engineering

• 1+ year(s) of experience with system design and implementation

• 1+ year(s) of experience with Linux and Windows server environments

• 1+ year(s) of experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP

• 1+ year(s) of experience with scripting languages like Python or PowerShell

• 3+ years of an equivalent combination of educational background, related experience, and/or military experience

Experience that would be great to have:

• Experience with disaster recovery planning and implementation

• Certifications in AWS, Azure, or GCP

• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes
