Purchase Executive

Job Overview: 

Responsible for end-to-end procurement of consumables and other production-related items, ensuring timely availability, quality compliance, and cost-effective purchasing.

Key Responsibilities: 

·      Handle daily procurement of consumables, tools, spares, and general purchase items.

·      Identify, evaluate, and onboard new vendors for quality and pricing.

·      Obtain quotations, prepare comparison sheets, and finalize orders as per company policy. Follow up with suppliers for delivery timelines and ensure timely supply.

·      Coordinate with stores, production, and accounts for material planning and invoice clearance. Maintain purchase records, GRN follow-up, and documentation.

·      Monitor stock levels and place orders proactively.

·      Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery conditions.

·      Handle urgent/spot purchase requirements efficiently.

·      Ensure compliance with internal approval processes and procurement guidelines. Required Skills & Competencies:

·      Strong knowledge of consumables procurement in a manufacturing environment.

·      Good vendor negotiation and communication skills.

·      Excellent knowledge of Excel and documentation.

·      Ability to manage multiple purchase requirements with accuracy and speed.

·      Working knowledge in ERP.
