Job Title: Purchase Executive for a Steel co.

Location: Broadway,Chennai, Tamil Nadu

Experience: 3 – 7 Years

Salary: 25 K PM to 35 K PM

Job Description:We are looking for a detail-oriented Purchase Executive to manage procurement activities for a steel manufacturing company. The role involves sourcing suppliers, negotiating pricing, ensuring timely delivery of materials, and maintaining optimal inventory levels to support uninterrupted production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable suppliers and vendors
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions to achieve cost efficiency
• Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (POs)
• Track deliveries and ensure timely receipt of materials
• Ensure procured materials meet required quality standards
• Monitor stock levels and maintain optimum inventory
• Maintain accurate records of purchases and vendor details in ERP systems
• Coordinate with production and warehouse teams to:

1.Confirm goods receipt

2.Ensure quality compliance

3.Align procurement with production requirements

• Resolve supply-related issues and maintain vendor relationships
