Quantity Surveyor

Job Summary:We are looking for a meticulous and experienced Quantity Surveyor (Landscape) to join our Master Planning and Landscape Architecture team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing cost estimation, budgeting, tendering, and project financial control for landscape and site development works.

This role requires strong analytical skills, a thorough understanding of landscape materials, construction techniques, and proficiency in BOQ preparation and cost analysis.

• Key Responsibilities:Prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQ), cost estimates, and rate analysis for all landscape and site development works.
• Review and analyze tender documents, drawings, and specifications to prepare accurate quantity take-offs.
• Coordinate with landscape architects, structural engineers, and vendors to gather technical inputs for cost preparation.
• Evaluate and verify contractor quotations, variation claims, and progress payment bills.
• Monitor project budgets, control costs, and report any deviations from the approved estimates.
• Prepare material quantity sheets, cost summaries, and cash flow reports.
• Support the procurement team in identifying and comparing suppliers/subcontractors for landscape materials and works.
• Assist in value engineering to optimize project costs without compromising design intent or quality.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for all cost-related project records.
• Qualifications & Skills:Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying (or equivalent qualification).
• 3–6 years of experience in landscape, infrastructure, or architectural quantity surveying.
• Strong knowledge of landscape materials, finishes, irrigation systems, hardscape, and softscape elements.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and quantity estimation software (e.g., CostX, Candy, or similar).
• Familiarity with standard measurement practices and contract management (FIDIC preferred).
• Excellent analytical, numerical, and documentation skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in cost reporting.
