Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quantity Surveyor (QS) to manage all costs relating to building and civil engineering projects. The candidate will ensure projects are completed within budget while maintaining high-quality standards and compliance.

Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare

• BOQ (Bill of Quantities) and cost estimates
• Perform quantity take-offs from drawings and site measurements
• Analyze project specifications and drawings
• Prepare budgeting and cost planning reports
• Manage tendering process including bid evaluation
• Handle contract administration and documentation
• Track project costs and variations
• Prepare RA Bills (Running Account Bills) and final bills
• Monitor subcontractor work and certify payments
• Conduct cost control and value engineering
• Coordinate with site engineers, consultants, and clients
• Skills & RequirementsStrong knowledge of BOQ preparation and estimation
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and estimation software
• Good understanding of construction methods and materials
• Knowledge of contracts (FIDIC or similar) is an advantage
• Excellent analytical and negotiation skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering / Construction Management
• 5-10 Year's of experience (can be adjusted based on role level)

Preferred Skills

• Experience in residential, commercial, and industrial projects
• Familiarity with rate analysis and market pricing
• Strong communication and reporting skills
