Setting points to connect different tracks for incoming/outgoing trains and shunting operations.

Assisting with the movement of locomotives and wagons within the yard,coupling/uncoupling and guiding the shunting master.

Using hand signals green/red flags by day and lamps by night to direct train movements.

Ensuring points are locked,fouling marks are clear checking for obstruction and Assisting with minor Maintenance of track components.
