Release Engineer

We are looking for a skilled Release Engineer to lead and streamline release planning and execution across multiple Agile teams within Ford’s Security Services portfolio. This role is key to improving coordination, visibility, and delivering excellence.

Key Responsibilities

•        Lead Program Increment (PI) Planning and quarterly release planning sessions.

•        Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and stakeholders to define release scope, objectives, and timelines.

•        Manage cross-team dependencies, risks, and issues to ensure on-time delivery.

•        Track and report on release progress, KPIs, and delivery metrics.

•        Facilitate coordination meetings and resolve impediments effectively.

•        Promote Agile best practices and continuous improvement in release management.

•        Communicate release plans, progress, and challenges clearly to all stakeholders.

Skills & Qualifications

•        Proven experience as a Release Engineer, Agile Program Manager, or similar role within a SAFe or scaled Agile environment.

•        Strong expertise in Jira, JQL, and Rich Filters for planning and reporting.

•        Excellent facilitation, communication, and problem-solving skills.

•        Ability to coordinate across multiple Agile teams and manage complex dependencies.

•        SAFe RTE or Agile certification preferred.
