Release Train Engineer (RTE)

Deliverables
We’ll be relying on you to…
- Spearhead Agile at scale transformation in an organization with varying levels of Agile maturity, driving consistent delivery excellence.
- Lead the Agile Release Train (ART) by organizing and facilitating key Agile ceremonies, including PI Planning, System Demos, and Inspect and Adapt workshops.
- Ensure seamless alignment and collaboration among Agile teams, Product Management, Architecture, Engineering, and Business Owners to maximize efficiency and value delivery.
- Manage and optimize the flow of value through the program and portfolio, proactively identifying and resolving impediments and dependencies.
- Develop and maintain metrics and reports using Jira and other tools to track progress, identify bottlenecks, and drive continuous improvement.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across the program, keeping stakeholders informed with regular progress updates and status reports.
- Collaborate with other ART leaders and stakeholders to strategically plan and coordinate the delivery of value across the program and portfolio.
- Continuously evaluate and refine Agile practices, making data-driven recommendations for enhancements and driving adoption of best practices.
- Provide coaching and guidance to Agile teams and Product Managers, fostering their growth and ensuring their success in Agile practices.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on SAFe and Agile methodologies, providing training, guidance, and mentorship to the organization as needed.
Essential Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of significant experience being a Scrum Master
- Two or more equivalent certification such as PSMI, PSMII, ICP-ACC, SAFe-certified RTE, SAFe Agilist.
- Deep knowledge of Lean-Agile principles, practices, and methodologies.
- Proven ability to manage complex dependencies and align multiple teams.
- Strong leadership and facilitation skills, with expertise in SAFe ceremonies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for coaching and influencing stakeholders.
- Hands-on experience with Agile tools like Jira, Jira Align, or similar platforms.
- Self-driven, proactive, and confident in implementing ideas and driving outcomes.
- Experience leading Agile transformations and fostering continuous improvement.
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, multicultural, and dynamic environments.
