Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Restaurant General Manager (RGM) to oversee all aspects of daily operations at our Quick Service Restaurant. The RGM will be responsible for leading the team, driving sales and profitability, ensuring operational excellence, and delivering a great customer experience.

  • Key Responsibilities:Operational ManagementOversee all restaurant operations, ensuring compliance with company standards and procedures
  • Monitor food quality, speed of service, cleanliness, and customer satisfaction
  • Ensure proper implementation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols
  • Manage inventory, ordering, and waste control to optimize cost and reduce shrinkage
  • Team Leadership & DevelopmentRecruit, train, and develop store staff including Assistant Managers and Crew Members
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching and feedback
  • Create and manage staff schedules to meet labor targets while ensuring coverage
  • Foster a positive work environment and high team morale
  • Financial & Sales PerformanceAchieve sales targets, cost control, and profitability goals
  • Analyze financial reports (P&L, COGS, labor cost) and take corrective actions as needed
  • Execute local marketing initiatives to drive customer traffic and engagement
  • Customer ExperienceEnsure high levels of customer satisfaction through service excellence
  • Handle escalated customer complaints or issues effectively and professionally
  • Compliance & AuditsMaintain compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards
  • Ensure adherence to legal regulations (labor laws, FSSAI norms, fire safety, etc.)
  • Prepare for and pass internal and external audits (operations, safety, quality)
  • Skills and Qualifications:Minimum 3–5 years of QSR or food service management experience
  • Strong leadership, communication, and people management skills
  • Ability to multitask and make sound decisions under pressure
  • Proficient in using POS systems and basic Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
  • Financial acumen with experience in P&L and budget management
  • Knowledge of food safety and QSR industry standards
  • Educational Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field (preferred)
  • Certification in Food Safety or Restaurant Management is a plus
  • Work Environment:Fast-paced QSR setting with peak business hours during weekends and evenings
  • Requires standing for long periods and occasional lifting of inventory or supplies
  • Must be flexible to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required
