Role Overview

The Store Inventory Auditor is responsible for ensuring accurate inventory records across store locations. The role involves conducting physical stock audits, identifying discrepancies, monitoring stock movement, and ensuring compliance with company inventory policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular physical inventory audits at retail stores and warehouses.
• Verify stock quantities, SKU counts, and product conditions against system records.
• Identify and investigate inventory discrepancies, shrinkage, or stock loss.
• Prepare audit reports and share findings with store management and the operations team.
• Ensure proper stock handling, storage, and inventory documentation.
• Monitor stock transfers, returns, and damaged inventory.
• Ensure compliance with inventory control policies and internal audit standards.
• Coordinate with store managers, warehouse teams, and finance teams to resolve stock issues.
• Suggest improvements to inventory processes and loss prevention strategies.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual stock audits.
