Job Description

•  

Interpret customer contracts and determine appropriate revenue treatment in accordance with ASC 606.

Identify performance obligations and determine transaction price allocation.

Assess timing of revenue recognition based on transfer of control and satisfaction of performance obligations.

Prepare technical accounting memos and documentation for complex arrangements.

Partner with operations, supply chain, and sales to validate delivery milestones and underlying triggers for revenue.

Perform monthly and quarterly deferred revenue calculations.

Maintain detailed deferred revenue schedules and reconcile balances to the general ledger.

Support budgeting and forecasting of deferred revenue and related cash flow impacts.

Review customer waivers, concessions, and pricing adjustments for revenue recognition impact.

Ensure SOX compliance and maintain strong internal control documentation.

Work with Legal, Sales, Operations, Billing, and FP&A to understand deal terms and operational triggers.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree with CA or CMA preferred  

5-8 years of relevant experience 

Advanced Excel Skills 

Experience with Oracle Fusion 

Additional Information

The resource should have 
- Exec presence, ability to put a slide deck for exec review
-  system expert and hence need to be systems savvy (Oracle and Alteryx)….Quick fix if something is not working in Oracle or Alteryx from analytics and reporting standpoint
