Job Summary:

The Sales Co-Ordinator serves as a liaison in the sales process when complex and technical equipment or services are involved.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

· Responding to sales queries via phone calls and e-mail.

· Handling a high volume of customer enquiries whilst providing a high quality of service to each caller.

· Product selection and equipment sizing based on the customer requirement.

· Offer customers a product that best satisfies their needs in terms of technical specifications, quality, price and delivery for range of products.

· Making follow-up calls to confirm sales orders or delivery dates.

· Effectively communicating with customers in a professional and friendly manner and develop long-term relationships with clients, through managing and interpreting their requirements

· Meet regular sales targets and coordinate sales projects

· Make technical presentations and demonstrate how a product meets client needs

· Proposes improved materials or products to customers and explains benefits of changes.

· Provides support to customers and resolves problems with installed equipment.

· Assists with research and development of new products.

· Negotiate commercial terms and conditions to meet both customers and business needs.

· Resolving any sales related issues with customers.

· Responsible for preparation and submission of GEM Tenders & to manage the entire tendering process.

· Preparing report for end of month and keeping customer records.

· Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent sales and customer service skills with a proven ability to explain technical products to non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to apply engineering, technology, or other related principles to product sales.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in science and Engineering or field related to Engineering products.
