JOB TITLE - SALES MANAGER/AREA SALES MANAGER
Location:
TAMILNADU (CHENNAI, VELLORE, VILLUPURAM, TIRUVANAMALAI, COIMBATORE)

The Sales Manager at Urban Money is responsible for driving sales performance, managing a team of loan advisors/executives, ensuring quality sourcing of Personal Loans, Business Loans, Credit Cards, and other retail lending products. The role demands strong leadership, revenue ownership (minimum 2X revenue growth), partner management, and adherence to compliance standards.
Required Skills & Experience
• Expected Monthly Business: Secured - 1.5 Crs and Unsecured - 50 Lacs
• in Retail Loans / PL / BL / DSA ecosystem.
• Strong network with bank/NBFC partners.
• Proven experience in managing sales teams and achieving tough revenue targets.
• Excellent communication, negotiation & leadership skills.
• Strong understanding of credit, documentation, and lending processes.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales & Revenue Growth
• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets across PL, BL, Credit Cards & other retail products.
• Ensure minimum 2X revenue delivery through effective team management and strategic planning.
• Drive high-quality sourcing from open market, DSA partners, and digital channels.
• Implement daily/weekly review mechanisms to track progress and course-correct.
2. Team Management
• Lead, train, and motivate a team of Sales Executives / Relationship Officers.
• Conduct periodic product training, objection handling, and field support.
• Monitor productivity metrics — login ratio, disbursement %, lead-to-conversion rate.
• Recruit and build a strong revenue-focused team.
3. Partner & Channel Development
• Develop relationships with banks, NBFCs, and lending partners for smoother coordination.
• Maintain MIS of payout structures, partner updates, and documentation.
• Tap new channels for consistent business growth.
4. Customer Relationship & Portfolio Quality
• Ensure seamless customer experience from lead generation to disbursement.
• Maintain quality sourcing with minimal deviations and error-free documentation.
• Handle escalations and provide timely resolutions.
5. Operations & Compliance
• Ensure adherence to Urban Money SOPs and all lender guidelines.
• Follow compliance, KYC norms, and audit parameters.
• Maintain accurate reports – sales tracker, funnel management, ageing, productivity.
