Job Description

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales & Business Development

  • Drive end-to-end sales activities: field sales, door-to-door outreach, indoor/outdoor promotions, and B2B vendor tie-ups.
  • Focus on high-value clients (industrial, institutional, and commercial projects).
  • Promote and sell Solar panels, inverters, and EPC solutions to both direct customers and through vendor networks.
  • Identify new business opportunities and ensure a consistent sales pipeline.
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

2. B2B Sales & Vendor Network Building


  • Build and manage relationships with vendors, distributors, electrical contractors, and dealers.
  • Negotiate and close bulk orders for panels and inverters.
  • Develop and manage a network of authorized sales personnel/agents who can sell products under Sumraj Urja’s banner.

3. Leadership & Team Development


  • Mentor and guide junior sales executives and support staff.
  • Conduct training sessions for newly appointed authorized sales agents.
  • Motivate the sales team towards achieving group targets and maintaining client satisfaction.

4. Marketing & Promotion


  • Represent the company in exhibitions, trade shows, awareness campaigns, and promotional events.
  • Plan and execute local marketing initiatives (print, digital, on-ground campaigns).
  • Work with management to design sales promotion schemes and offers.

5. Reporting & Strategy


  • Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis for management review.
  • Provide strategic inputs on pricing, product positioning, and competitor activity.
  • Collaborate with management to set realistic sales targets and growth plans.
