Job Overview

We are looking for motivated and customer-focused Insurance Sales Advisors to promote and sell insurance products, acquire new customers, and maintain long-term client relationships. The role involves understanding customer needs, recommending suitable insurance solutions, and achieving assigned sales targets while ensuring compliance and service excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Customer Acquisition

• Identify and approach potential customers through leads, referrals, and field visits

• Sell Life, Health, Motor, and General Insurance products

• Understand customer financial needs and recommend appropriate insurance plans

• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets

Client Relationship Management

• Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers

• Provide after-sales support, renewals, and policy servicing assistance

• Generate repeat business and customer referrals

Documentation & Policy Processing

• Collect and verify customer documents (KYC, proposals, medicals if required)

• Coordinate with operations and underwriting teams for policy issuance

• Ensure timely follow-ups for approvals and policy delivery

Product Knowledge & Training

• Stay updated on product features, benefits, and premium structures

• Attend training programs, sales meetings, and skill development sessions

• Educate customers about policy terms, coverage, exclusions, and claims process

Compliance & Reporting

• Follow IRDAI guidelines and company policies

• Maintain accurate sales records and customer data

• Ensure ethical selling practices and transparency

Eligibility Criteria

Education

• Minimum 10+2 / Graduate (any discipline)

Experience

• Freshers and experienced candidates can apply

• Prior experience in insurance, banking, or financial sales is an advantage

Skills Required

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• Customer-centric and result-oriented approach

• Basic knowledge of insurance or willingness to learn

• Ability to work independently and in a team

• Smartphone and basic digital skills required
