Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
1. Customer Engagement & Sales
• Proactively approach customers and explain features, benefits, and usage of personal care products.
• Conduct product demonstrations and sampling (where permitted).
• Recommend suitable products based on customer needs (skin type, hair concerns, etc.).
• Achieve daily / weekly / monthly sales targets.
2. In-Store Brand Representation
• Act as a brand ambassador, maintaining a professional appearance and positive attitude.
• Ensure correct product placement, shelf visibility, and planogram adherence.
• Maintain hygiene and neatness of display units and demo counters.
3. Stock & Inventory Management
• Monitor shelf stock availability and coordinate with store staff for replenishment.
• Identify and report out-of-stock, near-expiry, or damaged products.
• Support in maintaining FIFO (First In, First Out).
4. Promotions & Activations
• Execute in-store promotions, offers, and schemes as per brand guidelines.
• Communicate ongoing discounts, combos, and new launches to customers.
• Support seasonal campaigns and festive activations.
5. Reporting & Coordination
• Submit daily sales and activity reports.
• Share market feedback, competitor activity, and customer insights.
• Coordinate with sales teams and supervisors for smooth store operations.
Key Skills & Competencies:
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Customer-focused and sales-driven mindset
• Basic product knowledge of personal care / FMCG
• Basic understanding of modern trade retail environment
Educational Qualification:
• Minimum 10th / 12th pass
• Graduates preferred
Experience:
• 0–2 years experience in retail sales / brand promotion preferred
• Freshers with good communication skills may be considered
