Job Title: Sales Team Leader – Insurance

Job Summary

The Sales Team Leader is responsible for leading, motivating, and managing a team of insurance sales executives to achieve sales targets. The role focuses on driving business growth, improving team performance, ensuring compliance, and building strong customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, train, and motivate a team of insurance sales executives/agents
• Achieve monthly and annual sales targets for insurance products
• Recruit, onboard, and develop new sales agents
• Monitor daily sales activities, productivity, and performance metrics
• Conduct regular team meetings, coaching, and performance reviews
• Support the team in closing high-value or complex insurance cases
• Ensure adherence to company policies, IRDAI guidelines, and compliance standards
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and channel partners
• Analyze market trends and competitor activities to improve sales strategy
• Prepare and submit sales reports to management

• Sound knowledge of insurance products and sales processes

• Experience & Qualifications
• Experience: 3–6 years in insurance sales, with at least 1–2 years in a team handling or leadership role
• Qualification: Graduate
