Senior Account Manager

Job Summary:We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to oversee general accounting operations by controlling and verifying our financial transactions. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

• Key Responsibilities:Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department including:
• 
  
• General ledger
• Accounts payable/receivable
• Bank reconciliations
• Fixed assets
• Payroll accounting
• Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reports
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and relevant regulations (e.g., GAAP/IFRS)
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and ensure appropriate supporting documentation
• Coordinate and assist with internal and external audits
• Prepare tax filings and support tax planning activities
• Maintain and improve accounting systems and procedures
• Provide support and guidance to junior accounting staff
• Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records
• Requirements:Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA, CA, or CMA preferred)
• Experience: Minimum 5+ years of relevant accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, NetSuite)
• Advanced Excel skills (e.g., VLOOKUP, pivot tables)
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and handle multiple tasks
• Preferred Qualifications:Experience in [industry-specific experience, e.g., manufacturing, tech, services]
• Experience working in a multinational environment
• Familiarity with ERP systems implementation or upgrades
