Senior Accountant

Senior Accountant manages daily accounting operations, prepares financial statements, ensures compliance GAAP, tax, performs complex reconciliations, analyzes financial data for management, and often mentors junior staff, acting as a key liaison for financial reporting, budgeting, and process improvement, requiring strong analytical skills, software proficiency (Excel, accounting systems), and leadership.

• Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare monthly/quarterly/annual financial statements, analyze variances, and provide insights to management. 
• General Ledger & Reconciliations: Oversee balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries, and maintain ledger accuracy. 
• Compliance: Ensure adherence to GAAP, internal policies, and tax regulations (GST, TDS, etc.). 
• Process Improvement: Identify and implement efficiencies in accounting processes and internal controls. 
• Audit Support: Assist with internal and external audits. 
• Mentorship: Train and guide junior accountants. 
• Budgeting: Support budget preparation and forecasting. 
• Transaction Management: Handle AP, AR, payroll, and fixed assets
