Job Description
- Daily Accounting: Manage all accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.Company Filings & Compliance: Prepare and file GST returns, TDS/TCS, corporate income tax, and other statutory filings to ensure compliance.Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L) and analyze financial data to summarize the company's financial status.Month-End/Year-End Close: Lead the closing process, including journal entries and account reconciliations.Audit Support: Coordinate internal and external audits, including preparing necessary documentation.Tax Audits: Assist in tax audits and liaise with tax authorities.Team Leadership: Supervise junior accountants or bookkeepers and review their work for accuracy.Process Improvement: Review accounting systems and suggest improvements to increase efficiency.
