Senior Application Engineer

The Senior Application/Platform Support Engineer plays a vital role in resolving application/platform incidents and problems for our clients. We seek an individual with effective communication skills, a problem-solving orientation, and technical expertise.

Responsibilities

·      Provide 24/7 level 2 application support for a variety of applications.

·      Monitor applications and handle alerts from monitoring systems.

·      Resolve incidents, determine problems, implement workarounds, and conduct root cause analysis.

·      Participate in Major Incident Handling (bridge)calls.

The Ideal Candidate

·      Strong investigation and troubleshooting skills.

·      Good knowledge in Incident Management.

·      Practical experience in ServiceNow or a similar ITSM tool.

·      Practical experience with New Relic or a similar monitoring tool.

·      Experience with any application monitoring tool(e.g., New Relic).

·      Any experience in development (any programming language/scripting).

·      Basic knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, routing,firewall, WAF, load balancing, etc.)

·       Ability to work in morning and evening shifts.

Flexibility:

·      Willing to work in rotational shifts

·      Shifts on weekends/public holidays are compensated with days off within the month.

·       Night shifts are rare and occur for backup purposes.

Experience - 5 to 12 Years

 Notice Period - Immediate to 15 Days
