Senior Category Manager

Key Responsibilities:

Vendor Acquisition:

• Identify, target, and onboard restaurants, grocery stores, pharmacies, and other vendors that align with the platform's goals and customer needs.
• Build a robust pipeline of potential vendors and actively pitch value proposition to onboard them onto the platform.
• Negotiate favorable terms and agreements with vendors to ensure mutual profitability and sustainability.

Vendor Relationship Management:

• Act as the primary point of contact for vendors, addressing their queries, concerns, and operational challenges.
• Maintain healthy, long-term relationships with vendors, ensuring satisfaction and retention.
• Regularly update vendors on business opportunities, performance analytics, and suggestions for improvement to boost mutual growth.
• Monitor vendor performance (e.g., order acceptance rates, delivery time, quality issues) and implement strategies for improvement.

Sales Strategy & Collaboration:

• Develop and implement sales strategies to onboard vendors in new categories and expand vendor presence in existing ones.
• Collaborate with internal teams (operations, customer service, and marketing) to ensure seamless integration of vendors into the platform and their alignment with customer needs.
• Analyze market trends and customer demands to identify opportunities for vendor expansion.

Compliance & Process Optimization:

• Ensure that all vendors meet compliance requirements, including proper documentation, certifications, and adherence to company policies.
• Optimize vendor onboarding processes to reduce turnaround time and improve operational efficiency.

Performance Metrics:

• Set clear KPIs for vendor onboarding, retention, and satisfaction, and regularly monitor progress to meet targets.
• Provide regular performance reports and insights to senior management to drive strategic decision-making.
