About the job
Senior Data Operations Analyst (Reports to : Associate Manager / Operations Manager) acts as point-of contact between Operations and internal client services / clients to manage E2E operational queries and support to clients. Act as secondary point of contact in the absence of Associate Manager in managing E2E operational queries and deliverables. Delivers databases and output based on client specifications on time and at expected quality as well as engaging with stakeholders
Responsibilities
- SQL data management: Write, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries to retrieve datasets and tables from SQL database
- Data analytics: Perform in-depth analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and actionable insights.
- Data quality assurance: Monitor, validate, and improve data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across systems.
- Process improvement: Identify opportunities to automate workflows and enhance efficiency in data operations.
- Think out of box and solve complex problems with solution through deep analytical & critical thinking ability
- Process defined reports, schedules and processes by adhering to defined procedures, delivery schedules, and SLAs
- Acts as the clients' advocate within NOC by providing feedback on clients' needs, and challenging internal processes to best deliver on those needs
- Provide constructive input to Process Owners / Team Leads / Operations Manager to optimize and improve Operations effectiveness
- Understanding the relationship of assigned processes to both upstream and downstream processes to guarantee clean data is delivered by eliminating the need for re-work from any Operations team.
Qualifications
- Minimum overall experience of 3 years and above
- SQL expertise: Minimum 2 years of hands-on SQL experience (query optimization, data retrieve, extract large datasets)
- Educational background: Bachelor’s/ Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or related field
- Analytics experience: Strong background in Data analytics, statistical modeling, or banking/financial services
- Soft skills: Strong problem-solving, communication, and cross functional stakeholder management abilities
- Excellent organization skills, aptitude to work in team and meet deadlines
- A high degree of accuracy, proactivity and attention to detail
- Project management aptitude (critical path, task sequencing, problem solving, etc.)
- Common business language knowledge (English): speaking and writing with fluency
